SIL Announces Undergrad and Law School Scholarship Winners for 2021
The winners of the 2021 Scottsdale Injury Lawyers Undergrad and Law School Scholarship contests have been selected. Congratulations to both winners. Both winners were awarded $1,000 to be applied to their school tuition.
Winner of the 2021 Scottsdale Injury Lawyers Undergrad Scholarship Contest
The topic for the 2021 Undergrad Scholarship Contest was “How do you, or others you know, make your community a safer place?” Contestants were required to submit a short essay answering this question. There were over two hundred submissions.
The winner was Emily Rose. Emily is a student at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Emily’s essay was about distracted driving and what she does to educate others about the dangers of texting while driving. These efforts help make her community a safer place.
Winner of the 2021 Scottsdale Injury Lawyers Law School Scholarship Contest
The topic for the 2021 Law School Scholarship Contest was “Why did you choose to pursue a law degree and what do you hope to achieve after you graduate?” Participants were asked to provide a short essay responding to this question. There were over sixty-five submissions.
The winner was Kaylee Searcy. Kaylee is a first-year law student at Syracuse University College of Law. Kaylee’s essay was about using her law degree to help others.
Entering the 2022 Scholarship Contests
